Exactly, it's not necesary remove the heatspreader to know your Trident chips.... just check how long they can go on CL7-8-7-20 timings (1,65V), 1.9Ghz or above, means BBSE for me.
No name chips can't reach configs like these.
I can't get mine to boot at 2Ghz on my DX58SO.. Definitely cannot run CL7 at 900 on 1.65Vram and 1.45QPI... Even using the XMP settings mine won't boot at 2000...
