tried that just now, actually i tried EVERY setting ossible, -12 through +12 on all cores and per core, i get FF everytime

not true, refer to the quote above this one where i tried every possible setting, i get FF everytime

if I get it right, you get FF on all settings including auto. Have you tried raising cpu/cpu-nb vid?
