    Interesting. I thought Turbo Mode was dependent on active core load as well as TDP but I guess it's only TDP then according to the info on the Intel FAQ. So are most all of the x58 board manufactures TDP independent other than Asus now? What about the eVGA X58 SLI board? Does it have any threshold where Turbo drops back to 20x multi?
