Currently I have the Scythe on my Core2Duo. I have a Q9550 on the way and ordered the Xigmatek to install with that. However, after looking at my Scythe it has more heatpipes and overall it is a much larger cooler. I based getting the Xigmatek on several reviews and it seems to be a good cooler according to FrostyTech. Obviously I want to get the "most" out of my new CPU so which one is the better cooler? I don't have the time or patience to install each cooler to see which one performs better. I want to get the cooler on the motherboard before I put it in the case. As I recall the Scythe had me bleeding when I installed it inside the case.
