    Yep but if you plan/think ahead MS has already made a statement that windows 7 will not support hybid crossfire/SLI due to instability. You do take a performance and temperature hit even if disabled. It could possibly cause issues going cold but apparently not in macci's test although IIRC he did not freeze the NB.
