Smile [Team.AU] Corsair RAM TEC Cooler/Waterblock

    Hey fellas

Corsair sent over their new TEC RAM Cooler kit
well built this thing....unusual to see a RAM TEC cooler but what the hell

you could use this as a regular water cooler for RAM as well without TEC
it's dead easy to disassemble, pull the TEC out and just use the block

beware that this is still a beta sample and that final product will have some changes which i cant go into at the moment but it is not all at it seems

i pulled it all apart and as you will see you will be able to use different wattage TECs....... the internals are aluminium i would say even though it's pretty heavy so good for benching....24/7 usage is not wise if mixed with copper obviously UNLESS you use it with all alu kit like Corsair Nautilus500(aka N500) or something similar. i did tell the guys even when i got my initial N500 that it would be wise to go copper rad....i'll obviously talk to them again to see if it's feasible to have a copper block and N500 copper rad version as i believe these will be produced for 24/7 use as well....more details later . i use my N500 for benching a lot as its dead easy to change over blocks and cool different rigs ....extremely flexible benching watercooler.....i found it a bit too loud for 24/7 use but i'm really anal about computer noises on my normal day to day PC...i dream of a system without fans or pumps but it just isnt happening atm ......for my benching gear i'm not bothered that i'm mixing copper and alu...i even have spare 120 copper rads but cbf-ed putting them in heheh

i'll try and fire it up this weekend to see how it all goes and how cold it gets

let me post some pics now.....

i'll be using my trusty old Corsair Nautilus 500 with this block of course hehe
