aluminum conducts electricity (not well but still) lexan is a type of plastic

Hobby lexan is very thin as well and you can trim it to shape with scissors and I believe make shapes out of it fairly easily by heating.

It is fairly strong but obviously not intended to really support weight, I meant that it'd be a easier material for someone to make custom duct work in their case with than sheet aluminum.
