as a word of advice, don't use taskman and don't run games in window to track load on CPU! Use RivaTuner logging ability and time graph!
Ok, it is off topic .. just to wrap up... You can get LameMP3 multithreaded, photoshop does multithread, and taskmanager is just as good as any to see CPU loading -- it answers the multhtreaded part.
