Real Temp is what I use to measure my core temps. As far as testing I use mainly Prime95; but I do use Super PI and do a quick 4M test, as it usually spots wrong settings [at least to me it does] and I do not have to wait a long time running Prime95 to know I messed up somewhere along the line. Also, since I'm a gamer, I like to run a quick FFXI Benchmark [is the game I play the most on my PC, so I like to make sure it runs tip top] which oddly enough has spotted a few conflicts here and there for me. Once The PI and the benchmark go fine, I go ahead and run Prime95 and keep an eye on it for the first couple of hours. After that I just turn off the monitor and let it run for 8 more hours at least.
