    AMD to use High K Metal Gate at 45nm



    About time, this has been needed for a while imo
    It's not going to be included in the first revision of 45nm, but AMD have said they can utilise it down the track with the aid of CTI (Continuous Transistor Improvement)
    Probably when higher clockspeeds are needed.
