Very nice work windwithme

*Can you run Prime 95 (dual) and not Orthos for stability please>?
*Also, what are your temps idle and priming at 4.5GHz or 4GHz after 30 minutes (and cooling)?
*And we'll wait for the chips max FSB please?

I can usually get a lot higher with Orthos/OCCT saying stable when its not and only P95 really pushes CPU/RAM it like a heavy game is going to. It'll error very quick in it.

WilliamE don't go high V on air. It might work OK for a few days but will start giving errors later on and you won't be able to reverse it by then. I would say 1.6-1.65V at max for a few runs considering you keep it very cool. 24/7 or regular has gotta be less, definitely.

Actually if you had any idea what you were talking about you'd realize that the chips will only get better. Look at the engineering samples of C2D's and you'd find that they didn't clock as well as the retail versions. The A1 stepping of the C2D were just about all engineering samples (although I do believe they sold some A1 stepping retail chips for a week or 2 before B2.) The B2 stepping chips clocked better than the A1 (all engineering samples were A1 stepping.)

Here's a tip for ya: You may want to do a little research before making such a bold statement.
Finch has a very good point actually; "don't assume anything" because you don't mostly know what relationship an ES will have to retail. We've already seen Penryn ES samples that clock differently, b/cus they start off at different voltages (QX9650 1.1V - 1.264V).
