I'm not 100% sure about this upgrade. It's a nice incremental step, but X48 will probably prove a more solid upgrade. Not sure if this one is worth the platform, switch to DDR3 yet considering that cost. Still, X48 is still several? months off, and impatience is my worst enemy. I'm thinking money is better spent on one of the new November cpu's maybe.

now that i have a little extra money to spend...i will probably buy the X38 with DDR3 and X48....AND, AND...an QX9650!...Intel is going to love me...hehehe
