Exceleram, new brand of european memory

I love overclockable sticks and that was the reason of sheer joy when I got my package with new german memory - Excelerams

    First conclusions: (photos maybe tomorrow)

    a) good quality of product and nice package
    b) heatsinks of my beloved color - deep blue, a copy of Kingstons ones
    c) good 6-layer pcb produced by BrainPower

I got 3 sets, all of the serie based on powerchip ICS (I took off the sinks). First one, PC6400 - "JS", PC8000 & PC8500 "JX".

Every set was overclocked on the same benching configuration:

    E6750
    P5K-E WIFI (BIOS@602)
    Tagan EasyCon XL 700W

and the rest is not necessary

In bios set @ 2.4v with fan 80mm blowing on RAMs. Alphas weren't playing any role, because, whatever I set in bios, in reality it wasn't correct

TRCD @ 3 wasn't possible with clocks upper than ~ 320 - 370 MHz, I wasn't digging it, as it wasn't so important and I had limited time, well I haven't got time at all and I was forced to do tests faster than normally.

    PC6400

    PC8000

    PC8500

I couldn't find screen on HDD with CAS=3, but I did 415 MHz on the same setting like others...

    Summary

Exceleram is another player on memory market and with hard work from the constructors and nice prices it may compete with the best like Mushkin, G.skill or Cellshock. It need time grow up and fatten :p

Going back to 3 sets of my memory, the best one was undoubtedly PC8000. Minding relation of price/capabilities PC6400 is the winner. PC8500 wasn't shining, but it was just coincidence to get memory worse binned which is better than the king of family.
