    Update: New Question! Asus P5K-C w/ G0 Q6600 4.05 Ghz + some xtreme undervolting

    Hey,

    First time posting results here.

    Setup:

    G0 Q6600 L723A765 1.26250 VID w/ Thermalright Ultra 120 Extreme (stock) + Scythe S-FLEX SFF21F 12 CM
Asus P5K-C 0701 Bios w/ pencil vdroop mod
    Buffalo Firestix 2x1GB Micron D9GMH DDR2-800 4-4-4-8
    1xSeagate 200GB SATA + 1xWD 500GB SATA2
    EVGA 8800 GTS 640MB on Dell 2407WFP-HC
    Antec TruePower 2.0 550W SLI-ready

    Some pics without my case:

Right now I'm working on my Antec 900 case so I am testing the ambients right now.

So far, 3.610 Ghz (401x9) stable on AIR at 1.38 vcore real (1.4250v bios).

I will be back with updates as I finish my case!

    Aug. 9 2007 Update

Decided to have some fun with xtreme undervolting .

Ambient temp is 16-17 degrees Celsius (in the basement lol).

1.1375 vcore in bios, 1.10 under load. Priming and 3dMark06 rock stable so far!

Okay, finally found the max stable OC at 1.10 vcore real under load.

First, I tested to see if it could run @ QX6700 speeds. No problem!

Next, tried for 3 Ghz. Ran SuperPi 1M fine but was not prime stable.

Finally, found max stable overclock was @ 2.85 Ghz. This is very impressive considering this is at 1.10 vcore under load!

    G0 =

Okay, I think I'm done for the night.

    Enjoy.

    Back with some more results!

Max stable FSB was 480 Mhz but I forgot to take a screen.

3.7 Ghz w/ vcore at 1.43-1.44 under load - Temps never reached above 70 degrees Celsius. This will be my new 24/7 overclock.

    Idle:

    Load:

4 Ghz bootable no problem! (1.52-1.54 vcore)

Got another 2 GB of ram and decided to push it a little bit further. Was able to reach 3.8 Ghz PRIME stable wtih 4 GB of DDR2.

New question: Okay, so I basically have 3 settings to choose for my 24/7 overclock. Which one would you choose based on overall vcore, vdimm, heat, speed etc.? All three settings are using small FFT's for PRIME stability. Thanks in advance.

    Setting 1:

Cpu speed: 3.330 Ghz (370 x 9) 1.3000 vcore set in bios, 1.26 vcore real under load.
    Ram: 1.8vdimm with 1:1 ratio at 4-4-4-8

    Setting 2:

Cpu speed: 3.610 Ghz (401 x 9) 1.4250 vcore set in bios, 1.38 vcore real under load.
Ram: 2.0 vdimm with 1:1 ratio at 4-4-4-8

    Setting 3:

Cpu speed: 3.699 Ghz (411 x 9) 1.4750 vcore set in bios, 1.43 vcore real under load.
Ram: 2.1 vdimm with 1:1 ratio at 4-4-4-8

I don't want to set my real vcore over 1.45 volts for 24/7 use so that is why I excluded my 3.8 Ghz setting.

    Thanks guys!
