Since we are in a QuadCore Mania, after the Q6600 huge drop of price, I decide to mount my "old" QX6700 B3 on the P5K Premium to see how it goes with QuadCores.

Setup:
- P5K Premium
- TuniqTowe
- Sesonic S12 Energy+ 650W

Beginig with the FSB, as you can see the P5K Premium can do 480FSB quite easy.



And now the inevitable Cinebench:



11 segs - 2000 CB-CPU marks - piece of cake

And finally one of my favorite challanges with QuadCores Air Cooled: the 4x4x4 - 4 SuperPI's simultaneus, in the 4 Cores (one on each core) at 4 Ghz ...



I did it, altought we are here in Portugal in very hot summer day.

OK, for Q6600 Maniacs its just a matter of doing the maths - 480Mhz quite easy and full stable so 9x480 - 4.320Mhz - Asus P5K Premium may be the right board for the QuadCore Mania

Please note I'm using the old revision (B3) new revision (G0) seems to achieve higher FSB's and, apparently, produce much less heat.
