UPS just delivered, the heatpipes are HUGE!!!!!
I mean massive, alot bigger then those on the 965P-DQ6...wider and much taller, i forsee major issues with large aftermarket heatsinks people.
The area around the CPU socket is tight, i have a Scythe Ninja Rev B which i will try install...though i can't see it happening.
Thankfully i have a stock Intel heatsink i can use until i find an alternative, there appears to be a new ITE chip on the board but Google finds nothing.
IT8268R..closest i can find on the ITE site is an IT8266R which appears to be an overclock controller:

The ITE Super I/O is still the ITE8718F-S which was made 0712, Gigabyte SATA2 chip is 0648 and is just a Jmicron JMB363. There is also an Intersil chip and an ICS chip...hard to see the codes/dates.
Then you have the Realtek 889A codec and Realtek RTL8111B...pleas note, new Vista drivers for this now available at Realtek:

I was waiting for the drivers to be posted, up today![]()
Layout seems very similiar to the 965P-DQ6, please note...i have been given a new beta bios for the P35-DQ6, it's F4K. I will report back on this beta.
Since it's "K" i'd say it's an advanced/pre release F4 bios.
When i get a magnifying glass i'll report more on the other chips.
