    1 QX6700, 2 Days, 3 Motherboards

    Hey All,

I had some free time this weekend(wife and kids went to her moms) and a brand new QX6700. I have a an Abit quadGT that I bought and then an hour later the DFI965 was in stock so I bought that too. I also used the wife's Asus P5b premium. I thought I would share my results from Quadcore land.

I used the same components and same OS for all boards with the goal of find ing the hghest FSB for my quadcore.

Vista64 Ultimate and I did a fresh install on each board(Vista installs in about 11 minutes BTW from my flash drive)
    4x1gb mushkin redlines pc1000
3x 74gig raptors in raid zero
    and 1 750 gig seagate
    8800gtx

    DFi965s

The max fsb I could reach was 405. 406fsb blue screened not mater bios settings or voltages I tried. I lowered my multi to 6 and and set the fsb to 400 which is lower then the default speed of my chip and I still got blue screens if I tried to run prime95. This board runs fine with my X6800 up to 490fsb.

    P5b Premium

The max fsb I could reach was 422fsb. This board runs 24/7 7x525 with my x6800 in my wifes rig.

    Quad GT

The max fsb I could reach was 447fsb. This board also booted the highest for quick super pi run at 3825ghz. This board seems to handle my quad the best with no funky reboot issues.
