NVIDIA has conlcuded it and many benchmarks had shown it before that - whether it's x8 or x16, it really doesn't make any significant difference. Previous 7900GX2 used x16 connector between PCBs and NVIDIA apparently noticed it was a waste
You're right! I just checked an old score of mine with the Asus 975X board and it runs also on 8X there
. I just don't understand what's going on with 965DQ6 - the 7950GX2 seems to be so castrated. Maybe only I have the problem - will be interesting to see OP can get the scores up.
