The absolute max I can prime out of it is 1.61v actual (1.55v set in bios) at 2.7GHz. This is on a DFI NF4 Ultra-D board (6/23 bios), an Athena power 650 watt PSU, and liquid cooling. CPU never gets above 40C. I lowered my HTT, relaxed the memory timings, tried various combinations of memory dividers, cpu multipliers, fsb, etc. I've tried running 1.45v * 113% which gives me about 1.6v in windows, BUT, when measure it from the surface mount capacitors near the CPU socket it shows 1.655v idle, 1.67v load! That voltage at 2.8GHz was completely unstable as well, failed prime95 instantly. Is there something I am missing? Any suggestions? Any tips would be appreciated, thanks.
Update:

Well, apparently it is my trashy KAB2E. A friend of mine got the EXACT same setup as me, I took pictures of my bios settings and he's using those. Turns out his KAB2E (same stepping, date code, everything) is doing 2.85GHz in a high ambient with the stock HSF where mine only does 2.7GHz with a low ambient on liquid. Do I take the record as having the worse KAB2E so far?? :P
