    Corsair 5400UL @ 595Mhz New WR!

Brought the Corsair DDR2 5400UL to some new height on the Asus P5WD2 Premium and Pentium D Smithfield

Just edged past the stilt's record by a bit...

    http://valid.x86-secret.com/records.php

    With 4, 3, 3, 10.... pretty tight timings for such a speed
DDR2 + Smithfield, refreshing change for me!

I got some Corsair 8000 sticks on my desk in reserve, thou
The first pair easily hits DDR850 with 3-2-2-1 settings and 2.1 VDD
Haven´t tested the second pair yet.

    Thx stilt.
Sisoft buffered is screwed up though, really pathetic scores, unbuffered looks ok... this is on a 925XE partition with 955 drivers installed over so it could be this or just the Pentium D...
Heh how much Vdimm do your 5400UL sticks like?
Testing memory takes up sooo much time!

There are few different chips used in Corsair 5400UL sticks.
My sample sticks use Micron BT-37E (3.7ns) chips, and they seem to take voltage up to infinite. Production versions seem to use Micron BT-3 (3ns) chips, and take less voltage to achieve same overclock. So far I have been running them at 2.9V max.

Corsair 8000UL sticks use some other chips than BT-37E or BT-3. Last three numbers in the P/N: defines which IC does the sticks use.

My 5400UL sticks had 17-5 LOT code, which means Micron D9 BT-37E.
Other 5400UL sticks had 13-1 LOT code and they used Micron D9 BT-3 IC.

what kind of bandwidth are you getting? My board doesn't do dividers very well, most of the time it run below 200 MHz which really sucks.

Speaking of which I hope you arent using the 1:2 divider Its semi-broken and doesnt provide actual speed.

One of the advantages DDR2 had over DDR1 was the lower vDimm (1.8V vs. 2.5V). Now it seems that 3.0V may soon not be enough for DDR2.
