if it boots as far as the nic rom cant you just disable it in the bios then flash back to 1.8 official.

Yes, this is the best BIOS I ever used yet. Sorry to bug you, you seem as a very busy man
This what I would like to see and probably many others in 18 Rev.3

Add these memory optimizations on all dividers so they always will be set at those valuses:

    - Read Write Queue Bypass = 16x
    - Bypass Max = 7x
    - Idle Cycle Limit = 256 clks
    - Up TRFC to 18 clks on all dividers

^^^^^^^^^ These do not harm performance at all, while they
boost stability big time. They also increase overall memory overclock. I testet it.

    Some cosmetic touch ups :

    - Fix voltage control tab if possible so on right of "voltage control" option it will say [Press Enter]

    again, ya da man tictac

I couldn't change voltage on 1.8r2. I am using 1.8r1 and it works fine though. ANd, somebody PLEASE make a bios with the below settings. I set them in A64 tweaker and I am finally stable at 270x9.

Lol, nevermind about the voltage. However, when I flashed into the 1.8r2 mod twice from Windows. Every other bios flashed fine, but this one had some monor problems. It completed then tired to reboot, but hung after it shutdown. I had to power off power on. My overclocks are also scetchy on it.

I just reflashed to your r1 and the normal; the smae thing happened. It wouldn't reboot and I am getting worse overclock results.

you need to hack the rom file and inject the new code there

    Good Luck
Is it possible for this to be activated by anything other than the GIGALAN? for example the EPA logo? As this would mean that people who don't have this device activated can still use the code?

    Tictac,

MSI-K8N-Neo2-18R2 I cannot enter the voltage screen to set it. Also I would like to request that those setting mention above be incorporated into MSI-K8N-Neo2-18R1. Thank you for your hard work again.

    Thanks for answer digitalfrost

I Plan to force 183 divider on boot in a modded bios. Ill give 1.9 bios a few more days though hopefully it will have the 183 divider in it so i wont need to bother.

    lil bump here...

i was just wondering if any progress has been made since the last posts here? looks like you guys found some nice finds...i'm starting to think that i have a probem with the trfc timings aswell. with 1:1 and the 166 i am able to push my ram to 227, no problem...with 133, its very unstable and my max results very before a crash. Sometimes a 1mhz bump in clockgen will freeze and sometimes I'm able to get it around 180fsb -- still very shy of the ram's rated speeds...

    input please!
