Nice one... just hope it gets down here with very low prices, praying for Intel to do more pressure and make AMD drop prices, i´m very much interested at going in the 64 bit world... so a cheap Sempron would be my welcome card ehehehhe... as the k6-2 was for the Pc world and my atual Sempron 2.2+@1800 is for the socket462 world....KMON AMD, CUT THAT PRICES...

Maybe i should buy a Sempron 2600+ 64-bit and a Abit NF8 (this can do 320HTT, http://www.insanetek.com/index.php?page=abitnf8_7) and put on my peltier cooling :P

Why don't you try to overclock it a bit?

I've heard because of the on-die memory controller the semprons aren't hurt that much by the lack of l2 cache.

Just got a pc in here at work, a Compaq Presario sr1500an (don't laugh) and it has a 939 Sempron 3000+ in it.

Has SSE3 and 64-bit support, will test it out on a Ultra-D once I get the chance and keep you posted.
