    OPB's A64 X2 4600+ Testing report Part I

hi, Just got this baby this morning,
So far so good except run many times PCmark04 and got grammar check failed
could not get any score, so think I will need to reinstall windows to make it right.
Let's see the CPU and post screen:

    4600+, default 2.4g,1.30v

    post screen:

** Now let's see some default actions:
    Testbed:
    Mobo: DFI SLI-DR 510-3 BIOS
    RAM: GSkill PC4400 LE 512x2
Cooling: PCICE single stage value series
    VGA: ASUS en-6800ultra
HD: Hitachi T7K250 SATA II in Raid 0

    1.Default CPU-Z verification and info:

    2.spi 1mno worries, non-1m action will show on 3.1g)

    3.some sisoft benches:

**child's play on little OC under default voltage 1.25v

1.2.6g spi 1m with TCCD tight timing:

    2. How about 300FSB above

Next will be OC action, all under 1.45v stable.

Now let's get the fun part

    **All under 1.45v vcore**

    1. 3g spi 1m and CPU-Z verified:

    2.Some sisdoft benches:

3.[color=red] Take a guess, what voltage needs to reach 3.13g? 313x10

4.Sorry, gotta install windows so, allow me to run 3150mhz spi 8m:

** Some series OC benches will need to wait for I reinstall windows and get my PCICE cascade back.

    Thanks everyone. Stay Tune.

is that one phase cooling? im guessing it is.

Some resonable results on sub-zero i guess. i would rather see some air results tho (like people are just about to start crying for)

Cuz I love LE, LE spec. is what I created.

BTW, Is there anyone know what's going on with this error, it causes PCMARK04 can't have score.

    Great results!

Looks like a bug / conflict with the software. I know that PCmark04 v1.20 fixed grammar test issues with the FX-53 so maybe the software needs to be updated again to run dual-core successfully...?

    Hey OPB,
Nice Chip you got there. Sampsa was able to bench PCMark04 here:
    http://xtremesystems.org/forums/show...ight=cinebench

Maybe Windows re-install might fix that. You might also want to set multiple CPU option in windows during installation.

Nice preview! -22C is going nicely, hope this thing will not freak out under -100C.

    OPB,
Can you try Windows Server 2003 and try cinebench and ScienceMark 2.0 in 64 bit?

It means back to English 101 class for you. Joking of course.

Everything looks amazing so far. Damit, now I want one of those and a PC- ICE value series cooler. Please keep it coming as your schedule allows.

You can also order Win XP64 for 6 dollars. It takes a few days to get it and if you reset bios/date it will void itself.

Can you try the Multithreaded Version of Pi, in Systool??

its the only multithreaded PI benchmark that I am aware of.

When I had this cpu, I couldn't complete the grammar check either. If it weren't for that, I could have come close to the #1 PcMark score with my lowly 6600gt and this cpu running 3190 - 290x11 @ 1.55Vcore. This was with a unmodded mach2 vs. Sampsa and Kamu's 4800+ on LN2:

Way to go Kev, you'll be @ #1 in no time
