    Is that true?

I'm using the newest clockgen for Nforce 4 boards and have access to 500mhz for the HTT, of course it wouldnt work if I set it, but I can access it.

O.K. now I feel sick......., this is an official call to all RAM manufacturers to release at least DDR-800.

    jesus...

if thats real, then I say it's about time for AMD to start thinking of DDR2

see, if AMD64's can do 9000+ at 300 FSB's, and is pretty common these days, then imagine what 400+ at 1:1 would do
can't imagine DDR1 ever doing that.
DDR2 however has been doing that... at extremely lame CAS, but it has been doing that kinda speed on P4's lately.

"The command and conquer model," said the EA CEO, "doesn't work. If you think you're going to buy a developer and put your name on the label... you're making a profound mistake."

    that HTT 460 .... it's a speed that's even I've got sooo surprised ... never been seeing those speeds at nF3 Ultra's before .... only one word ... I.N.S.A.N.E. LOL ...

We know that for AMD, latency is everything ..... dunno if DDR2 is coming for AMD, but it seems that AMD is jumping to DDR3 perhaps ... DDR2 timings are lame for AMD ... maybe DDR3 will do the trick ...CMIIW.

why would amd use DDR3 when DDR2 is fine?
there is no such thing as DDR3 anyway, DDR2 will probly last as long as DDR1 which is ages
the only reason there is GDDR3 is becuase VDDR2 ran way too hot to be practical
