    ADATA PC4800 any good?

Just wondering as i want 300Mhz FSB 1:1 on my A8N SLi Deluxe board and i heard TCCD memory is good for it? At the moment ADATA are the only ones with DDR600. I have Corsair PC4400C25 (none platinum) but i am not sure what memory chips it has.

Exactly. There is some doubt whether A-DATA 600 is HyniX B or TCCD.

    Are they rated @ DDR600 1T?
In short, both AMD and NVIDIA discovered that their next-generation graphics cards are superior to each others' last-generation graphics cards.

So maybe i'm wrong here , but my Adata is TCCD
    I can run stable @ 300Mhz 2.5-4-3-7 1T with 2.7v everyday

ddr600 is very impressive, even with lax ras-cas4 timings. My winchesters ondie controller doesnt like much over 250 and 2.5-3-3-10 or 3-4-4-10 I hit the same limit and its a gradual wall, stability slowly diminishes after ~255fsb. Can this pc4800 do ras-cas3? I might get some of that when I go venice cause it has a much improved ondie controller

Yep , running DDR600 with a little relax timings but stable 24/7 is great

    I can run @ 300Mhz 2.5-3-3-7 but for benches , not everyday

Here is what my Adata can hanlde stable

G.Skill also has PC4800 chips. I'd try with the corsair first, that is TCCD and if it doesn't work get another brand. G.Skill LE pc4400 also wants to do 300mhz quite often. It gets better timings at that speed to.

I was thinking of gskill too but its $55 more and this winchester's ondie controller wouldnt do them justice anyway. When I go Venice, I can always ebay this patriot tccd and grab some pc4800 with 2.5-3-3-7 rated timings and do 300x10 or more even

    Cool yo geforce

you get what you pay for, plus you never did contact Patriot for exchange like i suggested i will bet.

running 289HTT, CPC ON, 1/1, timings you will diss, i know, but they are 2.5,4,4,10, all with 1 gig o ramski, Gskill style.

it was worth every penny of the extra $55. sometimes you got to break loose from buying cheap all the time or it can come back to bite you. and i contacted the Gskill rep, exchanged the originals, he sent me some cherries.

so lesson two, take the time to contact the rep regarding your memory, you may be pleasantly surprised with an exchange. all it takes is a little time, you are young and have plenty of that, time, i mean.

    clock on.

Mine aren't the PC4800 ones but 4500 instead (Vitesta DDR566).

    My results with LanParty 250GB:

    1 stick 512MB - 300FSB 7-4-3-2.5 prime95/memtest86+ stable
    2 sticks 512MB - 275FSB 7-4-3-2.5 prime95/memtest68+ stable

The CPU (a socket 754 3400+ DTR) is probably the limiting factor.
