It worked! Thanks for the "hack" man!

Saved me a lot of time finding the floppies and hooking them up

Take the exact steps that you would do when you update through Live BIOS. The BIOS will be saved at Program Files>Setup Files>MSI-7025 v1.30. I renamed the 1.36 BIOS to 1.3 and paste it in there. The BIOS name would be something like xxxxxxx1.36 so I just rename it xxxxxxx1.30 before pasting it into the folder. After that I clicked next and MSI Live Update will do the flashing.

I flashed mine the old fashioned way:
make 1 floppy as a DOS boot disk (easy in winxp)
make 1 floppy with the app and the exe. files unzipped (BIOS download)

boot computer with boot disk in place, replace with BIOS floppy, enter 1 command line, follow directions, save BIOS-no, and go....

If it's stable and you have windows installed just use "winflash v1.51" to flash it from desktop. It's mucho easier and i haven't hosed a bios flashing it yet.

Make floppy with Dr DOS Disk For Bios Flashing @ http://www.bootdisk.com

Or make a bootable CD (requires no burning software)
Bootable CD works on most boards, incl the MSI Neo 2.

yeah why don't we just do that? It seems alot easier and the risk is higher if your overclocking....so basicly run your computer at stock when you flash from Windows...unlike me who just flashes and hopes that my OC is just as stable as stock...lol

How do you make the stick bootable? I mean I can't 'burn' memtest.iso onto the usbstick, can I?

I tried the 137mod beta and the 13/15/18% vcore settings will not stick (like in 136) after saving and re-entering bios they go back to 1.55v default. (check in hadware monitor). The highest one that will stick in 137 mod beta is +10%. That seems to give me 1.76-1.79vcore, so maybe it's enough.

Huummmmm I get up to 9.0 with the 1.37 bios if I set the vcore to 155 and the % to the highest! What is the power supply you have and rails what do they look like?
