Those are Elpida 2Gbit BCSE, seen those previously on 2x2Gb 2000C9 kits.
    Thanks.
In memory of Gracie, my sweet, sweet wife and mother of my children. Darling, we will miss you dearly. May you rest in peace (born to this world on March 30, 1976; went to her Heavenly Father on Good Friday, April 22, 2011).

There's a 1040 in the serial number, hence not Elpida.

    2000 9-9-9 "1040" GSKill sets are always X-series. At least I haven't seen a T-PSC kit so far.
Also for the 2000 9-9-9 HyperX, most of them were BBSE.

    "0640" would be what...BBSE?

Is it me, or does $130, plus $16 for shipping, seem a little steep for a 2133 C9 kit?

    What am I missing here?

Outside of scoring some of those miraculous 2133C8 Ripjaws X sticks, that's probably the best BBSE one can find...assuming it turned out to be BBSE. There is a chance it could be Elpida Hyper.

I didn't realize that those C9s were so highly regarded...in my mind I was comparing them to the C8 Ripjaws, hence my confusion, or perhaps better stated...my lack of understanding / appreciation for what they are.
