Ha ! If I replaced all my Nvidia cards with 7970's, I could potentially get ~21million WCG points. However, I'm equally committed to both projects, but there's some room for tinkering

Except the bathroom, every room has at least two crunchers, all air cooled. As for the heat, I only wear a loin cloth![]()
There's a guy named B2I on WCG who told his wife that a cruncher he put in the master bath was a space heater.....
Desktop rigs:
Oysterhead- Intel i5-2320 CPU@3.0Ghz, Zalman 9500AT2, 8Gb Patriot 1333Mhz DDR3 RAM, 120Gb Kingston V200+ SSD, 1Tb Seagate HD, Linux Mint 17 Cinnamon 64 bit, LG 330W PSU

Laptop:
Colonel Claypool-Intel T6600 Core 2 Duo, 4Gb 1066Mhz DDR3 RAM, 1Gb GDDR3 Nvidia 230M,240Gb Edge SATA6 SSD, Windows 7 Home 64 bit
I can believe it ! I've had to buy a certain type case for certain rooms just so my wife won't shut me down(she's a designer by trade).
9 crunchers in the house, 7 of which are spread throughout the house the other two in my office.
Oh yea the other thing that works is showing her how much dust they can clean from the air lol She usually doesn't say much after showing her all the dust they collect. I think she some how believes the dust is due to her lack of cleaning the house, which is NOT true, but hey if that's what it takes
Oh yea finally a different flavor of pie, thanks to a couple of lowly 7770's!
Well done Sam one of my crunchers is down and can't do anything for the moment.
Enjoy a happy Christmas in your tropically heated home![]()

Looking at that chart...... it is about to get ridiculously difficult to get some pie..... 9th slice is worth over 400,000 and I feel sure that Santa brought some cards to some folks on the cusp

My Biggest Fear Is When I die, My Wife Sells All My Stuff For What I Told Her I Paid For It.79 SB threads and 32 IB Threads across 4 rigs 111 threads Crunching!!
Hey -just noticed that Stoneageman has his name up in lights on the BOINC Home Page:
Computing power'Grats, S.A.M.
Top 100 volunteers ? Statistics
Active: 267,872 volunteers, 365,088 computers.
24-hour average: 7.152 PetaFLOPS.
stoneageman is contributing 31,553 GFLOPS.
Country: United Kingdom; Team: XtremeSystems
BTW what ever happened to the WCG XS Team top hosts database, after the startup of HCC-GPU?
Wooohoooo, I got some chocolate pie!
Probably the only time ever that I will have some pie since you guys are hoarding those HD7970's and I missed it because I had no internet on holiday..... but still, wooohooo!
Stoneageman must be getting fat with the slices of pie he is getting each day.... his points/day are crazy. I have the current highest ppd in the Netherlands and he is still producing 6 times more than me. He alone equals the entire contribution of the Netherlands each dayNot to forget that there are normally at least 10 people with higher ppd than me just in team Xtremesystems. If those 10 would represent 1 country, they would take 6th place on the world ranking between the UK and Germany according to BOINCstats.
