Anyone have any problems getting Vista installed with Z77 ? I'm struggling with BSOD's after getting drivers installed.
Retail/TechNet OS image if it matters.

I will give it a go tonight however I remember having issues with this setup as well when trying x64 Ultimate but I will try x86 Vista as well and see if there are any issues.

It has to be possible, if you look at all the top scores for multi GPU, they are all done in Vista.

I got it to work this morning, I had been using a TechNet OS image that included SP1, I tried the original MS retail disk this morning and it worked

Both Z77 OC Formula and Asus MVE

All mb settings set to "optimised defaults"

Thanks. Got my mobo last night and got it up and running. Have to get new memory as these AxeRam not playing nicely (DDR 2000 MHz). Also have to update BIOS as mine came with P1.40

about updating bios with instant flash from bios, there is option to change configuration before flash, do I need to change specific configuration or just use the default settings?

hey dumo,help me again pls...Bought a new oc formula but can't boot at all at 2800 cas 9 with same sticks that can do that easily on maximus gene...I saw you managed that,anything special regarding timings ,voltages?or what is the secret?....

bios 1.15G,1.42G or 1.42K,same,55 error code.same sticks same imc do that easy on maximus V gene with 1.90V
