part of the fun of playing with 3dm01 is testing all the possible LOD values for each subtest.
talking about nature, with the GTX280 I had the best results using 4.5, with the 8800 series I used 5; I never used a GTX580 so can't help with it.

edit: using the best order and getting a "bugged" Car Low will give you at least 2000/3000 points over the classical 1-to-7 run.

Thanks MTP04, sorry I was not able to get a 580 sub in for the team cup, no internet connection all day. It has been up and down the last two days.

I will give 3 a quick spin on all subs. I was able to almost break 140k with no LOD/D3D so I am hoping with those tweaks and a non bugged CL I should see about 148-150K

Yesterday was fail, with a "binned" chip I purchased, cb at -140c, not kidding at all.

yea 1.9.4.1 I believe for the extended LOD Dumo, anyone have it?

I have one from MSI MOA 2009 but just installing it messed my score pretty bad on my xp install so I had to reformat.

use a full blown xp sp3 install for 01. for this giga comp ive been playing with lod between 3.2-5. below or above has been netting me lower score. don't worry about rivatuner, it doesn't work for 580. I have inspector whatever version you want I can add extended lod values. don't forget, you can run car low more than 1x most scores are low/regular, then 1 will be super high

First up some 32M with PSC, I guess my IMC/board is gimped because I could not run my BBSE dimms at the same clocks as on the MVG, so switched to PSC and 2600c8 with tight subs was not happening, so tried the less is more approach

Thanks guys, I am going to refill today and try one more time before the Asrock gets here, next stop for 01, 150k, and sub 5 for 32M. You have no idea how pissed I was when I saw that time.

So where exactly is LOD values in NVInspector?

Similar area to where the predx9 tweak is? or under the show overclocking options?

I am on version 1.9.6.6 which is I guess the newest one.
