I've been having a bit of fun with my RIVE, 3930k and some cheap Corsair Vengeance 1866 C9 Hynix CFR kits. It looks like tRCD 12 is the lowest they can go for DDR3-2400 but considering they're only rated for 933MHz 9-10-9, I'm not complaining. 1200MHz 11-12-11-30 seems stable enough with just 1.65v.

    Vengeance_2400C11.jpg

Pushing volts up to 1.72 I could pass HyperPi 32M at 1200MHz C10.

Hmm, just noticed I'm missing 4GB of my 16GB. Will investigate.

    Hiwa

    The G.Skill Flare 2000 7-9-7, are stable (HyperPI 32M, etc...) at 2400 9-11-9 and 1.65v?

You put the fans for ram for your tests?

    Thanks
    Sorry for my english

Flares are PSC and they love tighter cas latency.

here is 7-11-7 testing with them

all the times i have GSKILL STOCK fan on memories, it's enough for testing memories.

Ok thanks, and 1.65v is stable at 2400 9-11-9?

It's better to use the fans for these frequency/voltage

As i said psc is good with tight cas latecy they should be same at cas9

Use air all the times even at 1.6

    Ok thanks hiwa

And about the PSC ICs, is that the G.Skill PI 2000 6-9-6 1.65v will be stable at 2400 C8 or C9 and 1.65v?

    It's better these G.Skill PI (F3-16000CL6T-6GBPID) or RipjawsX 2200 7-10-7 (F3-17600CL7D-4GBXHD)?

    Thanks

Hiwa, which profile if any would you suggest for clocking the low voltage Micron D9PFJ-based kits?

No problem, I'm trying the Elpida Hyper profile and adjusting the main timings. 2000 9-9-9 is too easy with these, I should try for 2200.

With Rampage IV Extreme and 3930K, do these G.Skill kit are stable with the original specifications (and OC to 2400) and 4 sticks (4x2Go) and 1.65v

    - Ripjaws X 2133 7-10-7 (F3-17000CL7D-4GBXHD)
    - Ripjaws X 2200 7-10-10 (F3-17600CL7D-4GBXHD)

There are kit with the green pcb and other with black pcb, except the color, it's the same or green or black is best?

    Thank you very much

And on the G.Skill, for PSC ICs, this is indicated on the ram xxxx1040xxxxx (in general)

This is a kit with 1040 and another with 104G, would compatible to work together?

    Thanks

    I tested the Ripjaws X 2133 7-10-7, is stable at 2400 9-11-9-28 1T (the rest in Auto)
I tried with a "loose PSC profile", but it is not stable with HyperPI 32M

    vdimm: 1.65v
    vtt: 1.15v
    vccsa: 1.05

give them 1.70 or higher, no problem 1.70/1.75 daily use for PSC

do like i always doing: make 2 profiles in bios
    one OC and one easy
when u want play games or other things like rendering etc set OC profile, when u won't so them use easy profile.

1.70v for ram in h24 is not dangerous?
It is obligatory use the fans, I suppose

    What can I expect with 1.70v in 2400, 8-11-8 (8-10-8)?

Otherwise, I do not use profile, I prefer to have an OC stable for the h24

    Thanks

Pk and 1.70v for ram in h24 is not dangerous?
At 2133 7-10-7, no boot with 1.65v, this is because of the RIVE or something?

    Thanks

It's too easy with this board and G.Skill RipjawsZ 2133 C9, even the newer batches like mine that have Hynix CFR instead of BFR run great with the Hynix Tight Profile.
