    2133 8-9-8 are ALSO Hyper

    1140 MHz 7-8-7-22 1t air cooled

i've lost the pics with the heatsink off, BTW in the following one you can see blunt corners.

this is a retail kit i bought from memoryc 3 or 4 weeks ago.
it have 8 layer green PCB and MNH-E-Hyper ICs...ah, and just like any other Hyper i've tried super-pi 32M is a no go...so beware...

this makes me wanna buy some of those 7-10-7 sticks to go with my 2133 8-9-8 kits as they seem to be a bit better than all three of my kits.

what did you mean by this? wasn't stable with 32m? i'm assuming it wasn't stable at the frequency you were running it at?

i mean that even at default frequency and default timings (2133 8-9-8) 1 or 2 seconds after you launch super-pi 32M windows freeze.
i didn't tried prime95 or other similar stuff but i'm quite confident the behavior would be the same as 32M.
at least they are good for 3dmark...
if you get a BBSE kit all is fine, but if you get a kit with Hyper you have just throwed away 150 €.

p.s. and yes, this kit is MNH-E, not MGH-E...i remember that not so long time ago crio found a kit of ripjawX 2133 8-9-8 with MNH-E.

i knew sb had problems with hyper, but i thought it was confined to not being able to boot... i just spent 150 on 8-8-8 dominator hyper mnh-e and 220 for 7-8-7 dominator mnh-e
how many hyper kits have exhibited this behavior?

There are few hyper kits that donīt boot, and if they donīt boot itīs normally at frequencies above 1000. Main problem is that alot of Hyper mems donīt run stable and not even 2 or 4M on SB, but with UD7 and M$E you have in signature chances are best that they run for these boards are not castrated via bios as much as cheaper boards. Problem remains that you depend on luck, most of my hypers run flawless on UD5 and Gene-Z, but thereīs definitely no guarantee, and afaik MNH-E have even bigger problems seeing average than MGH-E. Give it a try and good luck

I was wondering why you were buying so many sets of hypers

That's the reason I sold all of mine because none worked at 2133 even with additional voltage. I tried a two sets of Dominator GT 2000 8-8-8-24, STT 2200 8-8-8-24 and I even borrowed a set of STT 2000 7-7-7-21 to test with no luck. I couldn't even run 32m, just like Mafio said insta freeze. If you have to have hypers spend the money and find a good set of GTX2 as they seem to have a higher chance of working.
