This thread is about Gigabyte, basically how to improve their products with input from end user

Lets get back to topic guys...Peep can open another thread to start comparing this board and MIVE.

If you have nothing but problem with this board...return it. If you think the other board is much better then get the other board. As simple as that

why you think gigabut gonna issue a refund lol
i got the other board waitin 2 months on an rma

personally i think people need to be properly informed repeately
    to make the proper choice
if no one complains companies like gigabut would care less to give proper support
i dont get my boards for free
and i wouldnt want a free board if i gotta kiss the ass of a company
you think 2+ months for an rma is normal
funny thing is after all these months no improved bios

if gigabut makes a proper bios you will never see me complain in this thread

no one gonna stop me from complaining
who ever does not wanna see my posts can use the ignore feature gigabut reps or employees included

I total disagree with you dumo this is exactly the place to report problems with this board , and let end users know that after you spend you 350 dollars your stuck with a board that gigabyte stop giving proper support to after 6 months , what a joke . . Sergio tested the new bios and it wont even go higher than 1333 in memory . . . " nice testing giga "
so now what am i to do shut my mouth and get another board " As simple as that " , no i don't think so , gigabyte needs to update there last flagship motherboard bios properly , Plain and simple

Then state the problem(s) clearly (exp. You can run bbse ram @ 2220 6-9-6-24 all day, but some hypers won't even boot @ 2133 no matter what you do) not just randomly posted "gigabyte sucks, dont buy it" kinda thing everytime Stasio posted a new beta bios.

I'm not a fan of any specific brand of board and no way this board easy to overclock, but isn't impossible to run a sucessful good bench......if peep now how to do it right

i see what your saying about every time Stasio releases a beta bios there alot of ing " which thanks stasio on all his updates " but we had more beta bios on this board then anything. . if you look at the b2 and b3 there was maybe two regular bios and those werent the most stable , i don't feel it take more to oc and make stable this board as i have a friend with a mive and its a bit more complicated , I just feel there a bios mess , you get a bios that has something good " no reboot loop" then something bad " damn now lets change the llc "
make a stable bios where all works and keep the testing of new features into beta untill you can get tested , i feel gigabyte must have just like one guy testing this bios for this board and he gives them thumbs up . . .
like i said this is a good board when it works , but it could be a great board , if they get some good testing and make a good bios . . but if they feel they're not making money no more and we are on our on own. . . i have to give the thumbs down to this company as it only been 7 months

You do not know me and vice versa and I don't have no boss(es) to report to when it comes to hardware. All I know that my sponsor are always Paypal and Newegg. Lol

I recently upgraded my board from a P67-UD7 to a B3 board. I noticed right away that my system would not go to sleep, but would immediately wake up if I tried putting it to sleep. Poked around and found the F4 BIOS (my board came with F2). Flashed the BIOS and now when I put it to sleep, it won't wake up!

Click the mouse, move the mouse, click the keyboard, press power button on tower, no difference. Then I hit the reset button and the computer reboots and says "Resuming windows" and when it starts everything is open the way I left it. So it looks as though my system is hibernating, not sleeping, even though it says S3(STR) in the BIOS setting. How do I get this system to sleep and wake up normally? My original (non B3) board slept just fine!

to be very honest I push for a lot of BIOS changes, with every new release, so don't act as if people with the board don't say anything. Just becuase we don't in public doesn't mean we don't have problems and report them.

People who get stuff for free, are worthless if they just keep saying its great.

Are you guys all using ET6 to check your CPU voltages when overclocking? I was wondering how accurate it is to go by since I just installed a 2600k on a Z68 UD5 board and clocked it to 4.5Ghz with the voltage set to Auto and LLC disabled in the BIOS and ET6 is reporting 1.272V under load with HW Monitor and the actual voltage being set by the BIOS looks to be 1.3750V. Core Temp is reading 1.3861v and CPU-Z doesn't seem to support the newer Gigabyte Z68 boards yet.

I recently got me a Z68X-UD7-B3. Really liking the board so far, great quality.
I tried to run Memtest(+) but each time i do it doesn't seem to want to run right.
Now i read somewhere this is common for Z68 chipset or SB setups or so.... can anyone here confirm what the real cause might be?
    (I'm still on stock settings btw; Z68X-UD7-B3, 2600K, 2x4GB Ripjaws-X PC12800 CL7, Seasonic X-850).
Here's what i see when i run Memtest from the latest UBCD:
