I don't see if you've ever found an answer to your questions about the CIC6124E, but I do have some information. Ignore it if you don't need it.

CIC was a spinoff company of Taiwan's International Technology Research Institute (ITRI)¹. ITRI is the same organization that gave us UMC and TSMC². It appears CIC was in operation from 1975 until 2004.

It's my belief this circuit may be similar to a BA6124, but I could be wrong. The BA6124 is a LED Level Meter driver³.

Good, bad or indifferent; I'm curious to know your thoughts on this post. I find your project intriguing and I hope this helps a little.

Interesting info indeed. It does look like what I have here, don't need the LED's so I pulled that chip out of the circuit and all is working well ATM.

As for the project, I think I'm going to give up on sourcing a new GEQ and go with what I have already. Prototype will likely be final product for the build as I just want to finish the build (ECS finally released the H67H2-I and I have one on the way). I have 2 builds to finish before I can get back to this so it's going to be a few more months before I'll get to it, In 2 weeks I start my "busy time" of the year at work where I start working 8hrs a day instead of 5, so project time will drop as I have 3 less hrs a day and I'm usually beat when I get home and just want to relax so that may add even more time to this project.
