Got the UD7 from back from RMA and ran a few 3D benching with different cards to see how it scores. Second score was with sli.

You're not a mod here, are you?
I'm sure if there was a problem, then an admin would have contacted him by now, don't you think?
If he wants to say gigabut, let him say gigabut! Or just put him on your ignore list and move on, man.
Coming soon...?
http://www.facebook.com/GIGABYTEmotherboardsGIGABYTE Touch BIOS will be available for download from the GIGABYTE website at the beginning of May, 2011.
Keep an eye on this Facebook page or our Blog for the download announcement.

That won't help him.
He still has to short pins 6 and 7..
Then he has to be able to somehow make it far enough to manually download and flash the primary bios. He must have been overclocked far (maybe with PLL overvoltage enabled) for it to reboot during an auto recovery...
This is why it's essential to alt f12 to copy the main to the backup bios before you do any overclocking. You don't want to get stuck in a boot loop at the same time the bios gets "falsely" corrupted during a failed OC (which on those old bios revisions, constantly tries to flash the backup back to the main).

Don't just tell people to short their pins they have to try the keyboard method first.
He has to short because his board powers off in less than two seconds.
Impossible to use keyboard trick....
I KNOW shorting the mains will work fine if F2 on the backup is intact. The one thing I've NEVER seen anyone do is short the backup in case the backup got corrupted with alt f12 (like DOM's first board did).
To clear reboot loop with 00 or blank post code....
Take battery out, turn on power supply and push cmos clear button several times. It will cleared bios settings

hmmm am also interested in the keyboard method .... anybody here knows how to do the keyboard method posted by sin?
Keyboard method only works if you can get into the BIOS....
Its holding alt F12 before the CPU ID string appears (or before you hear the beep...)
But your board turns off in 2 seconds...
Ahhh ok thanks for answering ...seems like shorting the pins will be my only hope ... I dont know if I can rma this board since this model is not being sold in the Philippines ... the board came directly from taiwan. That is another reason why i need to resurrect this board ...![]()
try this:
Shut down the system (don't switch off the PSU). Press and hold the case power button for 10 seconds. The system will automatically turns on (don't let go your finger) and off. Press the case power button again and the backup BIOS will starts to recover the main.
Whats the news on the F8x?
