    Question of the day;
Anyone received a press release of this on mail?

Intel did neglect to send this out atleast for me, seems they are aware themself that it was a mistake to get this "pimp" as director...

Super Bowl halftime show was garbage. Though... I had the idea that one of those LED suits would be perfect for marshalling airplanes. []

I thought that horrible noise was to scare birds from the flight path and that slash was going to land air force one with a guitar.

    Wasn't their last ad campaign:

    "Our rockstars aren't your rockstars"

Why can't we go back to that? I'd much rather see more commercials with the guy that invented the USB port or something than see this guy in one more thing.

Well, I for one greatly enjoyed the Super Bowl halftime show. It was fresh, energetic and diverse. As a drummer and former Clair Brothers crew chief and monitor engineer (yeah we did a lotta rock shows in the 80's and 90's) for folks like Eric Clapton, Aerosmith, Sting, Amy Grant, Elton John, etc I enjoyed the set of songs they chose even tho it was not necessarily my taste in music. They were easily the best half time show since Prince graced the stage a few years back. The guy mixing the band for TV was on crack tho. He missed several cues to bring vocals into the mix at the right time.

I also found his commercial to be pretty amusing. The fact that they did it Pixar style in computer anumation was pretty cool.

I think that everyone's judging the man on one interview and not on his body of work. Listen to their music past and present. It may not be your cup of tea...but it's pretty ok stuff.

    Just my nsho....and two cents.

yeah... why dont they educate the masses on how amazing their tech has been, is, and will be in our day to day life?
just think of how cool usb is... we just take it all for granted cause nobody ever advertized it as being something special and what cool things you can do with it...

i mean most people dont even know that you can create a LAN with usb or add additional displays to your pc...

i dont think so... everybody knows him and his work... the interview is just the icing
seriously, do you know a single person who thinks will i am is cool, stylish, creative, talented or at least a nice guy? i dont...

SOME of their songs are cool for parties, but only when your not paying attention to the lyrics or are too drunk to do so... what made them successful was their beats, not their lyrics and bizarre choice of clothes and themes for videos.

woooowwww... who the h3ll thought BIPs would mix well with slash and usher???

    thoughts while watching this:

    - oh look at that, apple sent over some minions to assist the show...

    - daym BIPs suck live! amazing what you can do in studios these days...

    - what the H3LL kind of a dance is that? looks like somebody randomly pulling strings on puppets 0_o
ohhhh THATS what this weird thing glued to williams head is... its a remote control device, like on those lab rats that had a chip stuck into their brain...
based on the clumsy random movements my guess is its... atom powered? ^^

    - the first time ever slash hiding his face doesnt seem odd... maybe he had a vision of this in the past and thats why he always kept his face hidden... mhhhh it all makes sense now

    - *looks at usher dancing like a harem girl* hey i havent really paid attention, did he come out of the closet yet? if he hasnt its close... i mean wow... hes not even trying to hide it anymore... the only way to act even gayer would be to rub his 4ss against william lol
now THAT would actually have been worth watching for a good laugh

    - its over! thank god its over! wow... what a disastrous performance... and all those audio glitches...
    didnt they reherse at all?
but hey, its not like this is a big event all of america and most of the world pays attention to...

EDIT: and christina aguilera didnt remember the national anthem in front of the whole nation? *facepalm*
man... is superbowl this messed up every year? or just this year?

Well that one blew up in your face eh?

I love it Saaya! Sometimes the angry/bitter/tell-it-like-it-is attitude can make a person look bad, can get you into trouble, but sometimes it's true and hilarious!

I heard them live about 5 years ago and they were a lot better. I think the over reliance on autotune to make so called dance tunes has really left them out of practice.

As for Usher, you got to be able to appreciate that the guy can sing. Sounded exactly like he does on CD. It too bad OMG is another autotuned piece of crap though as he does have a good natural voice. But man I hate AUTOTUNE, it creating a generation of people who completely rely on it. Ke$ha is the worst of it. Poor role model and no talent whatsoever. Just a disgrace of a human being.

I liked it, also. Their techy adverts were awesome, IMO.

Glad you can enjoy my comments!
Sometimes I think everybody takes me oh so serious and thinks I'm pssed off and mad as heck when actually I usually have a big smile on my face when I write stuff like this

So what, superbowl halftime shows always this weird? Gotta check out the past ones on YouTube then, thought only mtv awards were this entertaining in an awkward way ^^

I have not necessarily liked their music...I am a bit more of a classic rock and 80's kind of guy, BUT, I do appreciate their musical energy. I don't like rap, but I appreciate folks like Eminem who make a statement that doesn't involve defaming women or using drugs. You don't have to be drunk at a party to appreciate the musical energy of this band. I have not done drugs in over 26 years, but that doesn't stop the good times from a flowin at a party.

Might be time to become a bit less closed minded and broaden your musical horizons....just sayin...
