ionno in my opinion, things are often said without knowing the behind the scenes story, and there is always 2 sides to a story. if i would have just gotten a call to say hey whats up with the email, or waited 12 more hours for me to send another email trying to get this thing back in motion, people would not assume it is a classless act. infact maybe this should have been resolved before posting so we dont cause hatred or confusion. the whole world doesn't need to know every moment of every discussion, they just need to know the beginning and the end. or sometimes just the end result so you don't give up users hopes. or you can just say hey brian what happened, whats going on. anywho........

    DB put it this way

If Fugger now turned round now and said that we arent attending then you would probably think time wasting amatuers.

Movieman said what most people would think if they heard that the main sponsor pulls out. Its like turning up to an OC session and then being told that the LN2 delivery never happened. Would you use the same company again?

Fair play to brian for pushing ahead when he didnt have to. Those are the people that make a company come from good to great. Those people that make the extra bit of effort makes people come and buy their products again and again.

    *Hats off to brian@asus*

    Met many excellent people there.
Won't be there this year but hopefully for 2012.

Any cheap tickets to Vegas? Nah thinking about it; someone would chop something off if I decided going to Vegas without that someone

Had a great time at the event that I went to, I think it was 2008. Was the year AMD was there with LHE running.

Met Dave for the first time, and many others. All a great bunch
If I remember right I gave DB and some guys from Finland rides back to there hotels on the strip

I will be down there on the 5th & 6th but saddly I cannot afford the hotels down there this time to stay longer. Plus family here needs attention and I have to pull favors to even get down there as it is.

Good news everyone, as Brian already pointed out that we in for a great event this year. Not just in the big names in the industry but all the top Americas overclockers to meet and mingle.

Huge thanks to Asus for being this years benching platform.
Thanks MSI for bringing in the top Americas, we have a lot planned for the week.
Gigabyte is there! Great to have the support and representation.
Intel and AMD throwing prizes and bench processors.
Corsair is already camped outside my office with boxes of bench hardware along with Thermaltake.
A lot more to list in the flier and I will have a CES week event schedule that will be updated as we get closer to the event.
This year we have several VIP hosts setup to handle VIP access to any club for all of our guests.
The only thing that may be cut is the open bar and that is still being decided.

No open bar, no worries. Liquor stores open 24/7.

Darth and I brought our own in 2008. But I did visit the neat bar in the outside tent a few times too.

Yea, I really like Dave, met him at the last two, will miss him. Not too many old guys there like me.

Still met a lot of fun folks, looking forward to some good chats again.

Hey guys, whats up? Is it an invite only or open?

If you don't mind I would like to check out this event and help represent us case modders.

Thanks and I hope to see some of you in Vegas!
