    255£ + vat 17.5%

    so 300 euro + vat or 400 US$.
Shouldn't the vat not be considered for the US at least? That would look more like $350 in the US.

for anyone running surround thats a huge downside. using surround on a pair of GTX 470's i noticed that a few games would not play nicely with 5760x1080 and over 4XAA, for example Dirt 2 ran at over 60FPS with 4XAA turn that up to 8XAA and FPS went down to 2FPS. I hope these are priced right. for single monitor setups at the right price this card will be extremely nice.

With these currency-crises it's not easy to get a clear picture about the exact price. But this is not a bad start. But it may get better, hopefully, depending on AMD's next move.
I guess this mean GTX480 will end up really cheap now, until it run out.

Yeah, I saw that last night... there's a super-clocked 797mhz version for around $390, while this normal 732mhz version is $369.49 as you linked .

The Pricing doesn't look like its going to be great here compared to GTX470 (219 with free shipping). The 100 euro premium isn't worth it at all.... unless someone is getting it for me for christmas

The gtx 470 was never meant to hit 219 considering the size. $350 for a 500mm + chip is priced fair enough if it outperforms the gtx 480.

Yeah I definitely agree with that! The only thing is that it's very hard to swallow what will likely be 350+ euro at launch for the 570 when I can pick up 2 470s for not a whole lot more! At 299 I would buy it on the day it came out though, either ati or nvidia seriously needs to get their skates on and release a card at that price point.

Sometimes lil' faster than GTX 480, sometimes lil' slower ... Seems to be the deal but we'll see soon now.
An idea about the time when GTX 570's reviews will appear tomorrow ?

Loved the info but i am a bit confused as to why no one now a days posts sources along with their precious contributions?

Don't get me wrong i do love the posts but the source also deserves some credit and a visit "More visits = more cash that site can make"

The original site used an image of a GTX 580. There are subtle differences.
