Hi, i'm posting this for my brother, he's still waiting for his account to get activated:

I have a aw9d-max mainboard and a asus Direct cu 460gtx, Ill be happy to post my bios if you dont already have it.
My computer freezes on the post screen with error code 87, Ive heard it is a conflict with the 2D boot voltage
Can you please make me a modded bios to get this card to work with my mobo?

Just picked up a MSI Twin Frozr II SOC 768MB, does 880MHz at stock 0.987v & maxed out at 915MHz in Heaven Benchmark at 1.087v. Load temp at 45% fan was something around 48-50*C. You guys think 1GHz possible or no? Never flashed a BIOS before either, a bit confused as to how to upload the BIOS and how to get to it.

Hello, This ^^ bios, is from my card.

I just got activated. I also realized I accidentally named the bios file .bin instead of .rom sorry for the confusion.

I checked my bios against the one in the first post, mine seems to be a newer version of the same bios.

I just got a Gigabyte 460 OC 1GB and are about to flash a modified BIOS. I modified my original BIOS and used all four performance-levels in Fermi Voltage Editor and Clock Domain but had trouble getting in to Windows after the flash so I flashed back to original. Could I use the BIOS uploaded in this thread called Gigabyte 1GB (maybe a stupid question..). I looked at some of the different BIOSes uploaded but I can't understand why only two different voltage profiles are used and not all four?

I sorted out my problem, I flashed the mobo to an older bios and it worked. Even the latest v17 bios works now. The only thing I can think of, is they did a silent update on their ftp after I had installed the latest bios back in 2008. I did dump the v17 rom I had installed and check both files in a hex editor they look completely different.

Hopefully the small handful of people who have reported this problem with the 460gtx and aw9d-max will find this thread and fix their problem as well.

Now would anyone here be kind enough to explain these clock domains?

All I want to do is change the 3D (P15) clocks, so I dont have to run afterburner 24/7.

Here is the bios for my inno3d iChill GTX460 1GB with default OC of 750/1500/3800. Can you unlock the fan speed to 30% - 100% please? Also please unlock the voltage in this bios. Just unlock, no change on clocks or default voltage. Thanks.

    Hi there,

May I request bios mod for my new inno3d iChill GTX460 1GB again? The default setting is core/shader/memory 750/1500/1900MHz. Please do the following mod for me:

    1. Change fan speed range from 40%-70% to 30%-100%;
    2. Change core/shader/memory speed to 800/1600/2000MHz; (tested, it's stable)
    3. Could you also change the default 3D core voltage to 975mV in BIOS? The default 3D core voltage is 1000mV, but I found my card can run 800MHz at 975mV. Lower voltage, less heat.

    Here is the bios:

    Thank you very much.

    Hi Vern,

Thanks for the mod. I load the bios in NiBiTor, then open Fermi Voltage Editor, I found Setting 0 was 0.975V. Does that mean the idle voltage would be 0.975v instead of 0.875v? Would you please set 3d load voltage to 0.975V, and leave the idle voltage unchanged (0.875v)?

    Thanks.
