Good to see Bobcat is going down into the tablet space, I'm liking the progress in the roadmap.

As I predicted earlier. The desktop parts will come earlier like we saw with Nehalem.

250 days from tape out to production in Bobcat case! That's like giant accomplishment with a whole new CPU core on the same die with a GPU core on a 3rd player foundry process!

i pray for atleast 200W TDP,
that will offer some insane damage when it comes to advanced turbo features
however such a sized chip might be too big for yields. however with everything being multicored it might just have 10% disabled and the rest working just fine

Chuck Moore confirms that Llano's and probably Ontario's GPUs will work together with discrete GPUs to accelerate application.I suppose games fit in the group as well . Pair Llano with 5570 or similar card and get 800+ SP equivalent discrete card performance .

He said Q2 for Llano and summer time for BD, so I think that the Llano will come in April or May and the (desktop) BD will be launched in June maybe on Computex.

What, you listen to him but not me? I've been telling everyone that for a year.
While I work for AMD, my posts are my own opinions.
