Why would a PWM controller allow you to "choose between RPM or Voltages" on the LCD readout?
But yes... a lack of visible heatsinks suggests PWM.

If I didn't already have a T-balancer I'd definitely get this one![]()

so would this particular controller fix the squealing gt fans (like the bad fc3?)
The squealing issue was fixed well over a year ago. lol
Nice looking panel, good front for Lian Li. Can't wait to see a review on some portal.

From that HardwareCanucks Youtube review, it seems like a few things are lacking:
- Voltage to 0.1v resolution: I thought most units already had a tenths-decimal readout on display? A positive integer value is somewhat useful, but I hope Lamptron can fix this with a firmware update... The same goes for Temperature.
The unit is obviously capable of displaying "XXXXrpm" in the same area that the voltage readout appears...hmm
- Are there (+) and (-) buttons to change fan speed in 1% increments? It seems like we can finger-smudge our way to a desired general fan speed, and then the 1% increments would be necessary (perhaps changing more rapidly the longer the touch-button is held). - Maybe a single knob for fully variable control (or pair of physical buttons) is in order. I would have liked 1 high-quality knob.
- What is the Fan RPM resolution? I think about 30-RPM increments is the standard. That may be fine already.
- Brushed Aluminum: It should probably be vertical, but I don't care much about that.
Everything else seems great. I'm hoping these issues can be addressed with updates! If not... still a good control option.

A certain online shop owner said they've had nothing but problems with these controllers and to stick with the fc-5 / fc-2. Didn't get into specifics just saying! Let us know how it is.
