    really sucks~

choose any other dividers or locked mode will not boot!

And I also only have 2.8V Vdimm in both BIOS and uGuru(Newest version)

What the hell is going on?

This is the bios with the supposed agp lock. So far it seems if you set the agp/pci lock option to anything other then default it locks the system, no boot. Also, the vdimm went from max 3.2 to max 2.8 :|
Looks like one killer bios, agp/pci settings lock the bios, less voltage options? Please throw in a kick to the sack and ill be a happy customer. Besides all this the kv8 pro is a good board, heres a x800 pro minimally overclocked with the kv8 pro

I got my KV8PRO with my 3200+@220*10, RAM at CL2-2-2-5, DDR440, X800PRO at default, 3Dmakr01se = 25259 Win XP, it seems that your 3dmakr01se score is abnormally low.

I have some mushkin L2 that doesnt even doo 220 1:1 with 3.4 volts. I have to run it out of sync at ddr333. I get killed on all the bandwidth intensive benchmarks. It was just the best score I got out of running it 5 times, The x800 is only at 565/565(just breaking her in).

Yep it officially blows. Only the 6.2.1 ratio works, and max vdimm is 2.8, but you can change it to 3.2 with uFooro or whatever it's called. I think they need to edit the bios so the ratio reads:

    6.2.1
    maybe
    it's
    fuxed

I am working with Abit about this problem. I will keep you guys posted about this tomorrow.

A new version of uGuru will release tomorrow.

Oh! Do you think the CPU temp reading is abit too high with the 1.1 bios? Abit told me they fixed it with the 1.4 beta. Any comments on that? I found that it did lower the temp reading by 5 to 7 degrees C. I still find it a bit higher compared to other motherboards (eg. Gigabyte and Asus).

man - i just ordered this mobo - as i couldnt wait for nf3 250 mobo's to come out - I gave abit credit as my last abit mobo - AI7 - worked like a dream ...

now - dont get me wrong - i saw all the threads on abit forums - but i said - ah - it's all bios related ...

but now i see - from bios to bios - this mobo is loosing features ....

one of my main considerations when buying this mobo was 3.2V vdimm - now it gets down to 2.8 ?!

man - i am starting to be sorry not waiting for gigabyte mobo ....

Just give abit time. You are complaining about a beta bios. I have sent abit an e-mail and will wait for their reply tomorrow. I am sure they will fix the problems.

The guy I spoke to said he managed to overclock the system at 270mhz fsb with the AGP/PCI lock.

I am sure the final bios will have DDR voltage up to 3.2V.

It should have been working before they started selling the board. It's like going to a drive through and getting your napkins in the mail 2 weeks later.

I'd say it's more like getting your drinks in the mail two weeks later.

Not without the lock it isn't. If you have a sata drive you can get to about 210htt before your drive disappears.

Abit released a new version of uGuru today.

    ftp://ftp.abit.com.tw/pub/download/beta/uguru/KV8Pro/

See if it helps with the beta 1.4 bios released yesterday.

Abit gave me the link for the new uGuru yesterday and told me it will only be released today. I guess it has.

However, I still haven't received a reply from Abit regarding the problems.

Thanks for the info Manoj. Looks like the only thing that I can see this uGuru version fixed is a bug where it showed 0MHz for cpu frequency. Agp/pci ratio is still greyed out. Thanks.

hmm hope they will hurry op at Abit. I took almost 6month for them to solve the divider issue above 250fsb on the IC7-MaxII!!!!
Is there no other mobo that offers high vdimm?
