Lol- it crashed at 1080 Cl8-9-8- with settings that were stable at 7-9-7- I could run 2400 Memtest and Lix stable with my Team with 1,28VTT at 200 BCLK, all on air with decent tempertures- if I would have had a BS at that rates I would have raised the VTT- but why should I if it was stable till this moment^^?

    Nice ss stasio, impressing score!

Another thing I find funny is AMD/Intel would snipe any of our Moms on a grocery run if it meant good quarterly results, and you are forever whining about what feser did?

I requested an RMA for my 2000 C7 sticks since they won't do 2000 C7@1.65v, and my Dominator GTs prove it's not the board/CPU. Looks like they're going to do it.

Looks like they must have gotten all the lower bin Hyper and tried to push them into specs that they could hardly do :d

My board is not exactly what I would call a good C7 board, but til now I have no problems- all of my eight 2000 C7 sticks are Memtest stable within the specs but of course with 1T, XMP says 2T- good luck with your RMA

Doubt I'll get anything back better than my GT kit, it can do 2000 7-8-7 with 1.62v BIOS set, but we'll see.

    Poor clocking 860 (1.329v real for 3.8ghz, 1.39v for 4ghz...)
    EVGA P55 Classy 200
    Supertalent 2x2gb 2200 Cas 8

    B2B:0 (obviously), only 1.65v.

Maybe I'll pick up another Lynnfield and really push it, this classy and this ram are capable of another 100mhz perhaps, maybe another 1gb/s read

Dude please don't test RAMs with wPrime, it doesn't stress them AT ALL! Try SuperPi 32M

Not a general querry about this specific kit, but which option provides more bandwith?

Download the Everest trial and find out yourself

I'm going to guess 2100 7-7-7-24. You should be able to hit 2000 7-7-7 which would be better than both of those.

That is the next thing I'm going to try since I settled at last with 200bclk.

What's the general vDIMM max consensus here? I'd wish not to kill Hypers, they
ought to turn out like a viable investment in the days to come

for me testing both 2100 is usually bit faster in synthetic benches such as Everest, however it requires more vtt so I usually just leave it at 1700+ c6.

Mine are arriving Thursday. I went with the 2133 C8 sticks.

I need some epic memory scores for Geekbench! That thing will be made or broken with memory scores.

I'm on AMD and I've pushed 1.75v through Prime95 runs, but I really wouldn't recommend even thinking about that on intel.

    I'd say 1.70v.

With my IMC subzero, trying to get 2000 C7 with my JMicrons for some Pi runs, I pushed 1.88V.

No success which is why I ordered these. Not even hitting what these will most likely hit at stock volts with that much voltage pissed me off a lot.

For benching on air, I'd try to keep it around 1.75V, 1.7V as a max for 24/7 with Intel.

Sub-zero and pushing for Pi runs is a lil different. On my setup I don't think I'd be afraid to push 1.8v in that situation.

Nearly 1.9v is a lot though!

I´ve seen more- and on air- but I think thats crazy- at HWLuxx in germany a guy primed G-Skill Hyper at 2,06 V on 1154 Cl8 on X58, on subzero, but a friend of mine did 1082 7-7-7 with team Group D9JNM at 1,95V 32M on H55- I think I would wet my pants at these Voltages
