I take it from that reply that you haven't read more than a couple of posts on the thread.

As part of a community we bought the motherboards. CPUs, memory, power supplies and cooling were bought as individuals.

Let's not bash too much, but I've been running Windows 7 for a while now and have never had a blue screen...12GB isn't much in comparison to the drive space we have.

Duh, thanks for organizing this. I was originally interested but some i7 goodies came along (Thanks Gigabyte!) that requiring some $, so I wasn't able to buy into your offering. Thanks to you and thanks to the team for the crunching!

Thank you mate! It was shoota the one who really made this possible. He received payments, contacted the seller, asked for rebates, returned defective items, got a list from the ones that payed and how many as well as their address and finally shipped all this beasts .

    Props to SHOOTA!

The boards can still be bought on eBay. Bidding starts at $99, don't bid against each other

man guys i need to vent. monday i go to turn on my quad cruncher and nothing happens. the brand new antec psu i got for it died. so i send it back. then today i decide to redo the fans in my main rig, finish, hit power and i'm greeted with a constant loop of rebooting. my OCZ gamextream has just died. what are the freaking odds of two top name brands dying in the same week for crying out loud!? now i'm stuck using an old PowMax psu (which surprisingly enough i have more faith in than anything else right now).

    thanks for listening

I noticed a crack in my windshield had appeared so I booked to have the screen replaced. The crack had spread quite a lot by the time it was replaced, so I was glad I'd had it done. Later the same day a stone chipped it. I was very annoyed so I didn't do anything about it for a few days. Woke up one morning after a frost and it had spread across half the screen.

Don't bid on this! I'm trying to get my paws on it

I asked how many other board's he has for sale but hasn't replied yet.

I spent the majority of yesterday scouring ebay for Barcas, cheapest I could find was around £48 for 1.9ghz and £42 for 2.0ghz. Some were asking for £100+ for one On the cheaper ones they had between 5 - 10 procs for sale. Once I'm home from work I'll post links.

my guess is that he has a ton of them. i'm sure they would do another bulk sale if the interest was high enough.

    Well here is what I found. Still a bit more than what the majority of you guy's paid but it might save some of you the trouble of looking;

    8347 1.9ghz $70 + $2 P&P Has six at the moment.
    8347 1.9ghz $70 Free P&P Has four
8350 2.0ghz $65 Free P&P Has ten but only ships to the US
8347 1.9ghz $75 Free P&P Has ten but again only ships to the US

And for two of these you could get four in that complete board, cpu, psu set up

I'd say you'd be better off waiting for some reasonably priced ones to appear. Remember to factor in VAT and custom charges.

Yeah they're almost double what you said you paid. Didn't you get hammered 'cause customs wanted to peak at yours?

Over double what I paid, including shipping and tax.
I think you have to pay VAT on purchases from outside the EU anyway. My fees were £12 VAT and £8 customs charge, which was actually much less than I was expecting it to be.

That's not so bad. Thought it'd be a fair bit more than that. Could look at it as £2.50 per cpu. Just have to buy them before the VAT increase
