700.00 bucks at newegg there is no way I would buy this. I've been waiting for this board for a month now. I would of paid 450.00 but not 700 for this thing. Guess I'll get a UD7 now :-(

Not saying your one of these people but I have to honestly ask myself how many people actually complaining about the price would buy it at the $500-$550 price range.....

I get the feeling 90% would not and would still complain about price.

I can't afford it either way, why complain if I was never a factor in there targeted market to begin with.

UD7 is a attractively priced board. I have one it's nice, and it works good.

I suggest those that are dead serious and would truly purchase a UD9 if a bit cheaper take a diff approach and instead of complaining try to find out if one of these resellers would do a group buy at a discount.

    Here you go Dino,

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T2gkFssa3JM

USB keyboard is fine in front bios page.
Enter MIT page and its okay.
Enter MIT Current Status page and keyboard flashes on and off
Escape out of that and back to MIT page
Escape out of that and back to front bios page, its like a button is stuck on the keyboard as its asking me to exit - as you can see
Go back into MIT page, keyboard starts to flash again
    ect ect
    nevermind my cpu temp...

Agreed - board is way too expensive - the EVGA 4-way is cheaper here in the UK by about £50! New Rampage iii is £150 cheaper!

Really disappointed, would have bought myself 1 of these but not at it's current price :shake:

But then again, maybe the price truly is worth it? I've seen the benches from the ES model, be nice if the performance hasn't been lost on the retail boards

I've also requested the Logitech Illuminated keyboard from the Logitech PM to test after I come back from Computex but this may not be necessary if the bios solves it

I mean bios improved functionality of keyboard. the keys will still flash in M.I.T page in BIOS. Keys do not appear to 'stick' when in BIOS.

    Tanks

Just wanted to update things relative to what I said earlier. Flashing to F2 fixed essentially all of my memory clocking issues with the board, it's within 5 MHz of the classified now

Just so the G.B. crowd know, these landed in the u.k. today and are already available on the famous auction site. Look nice, but pricey. It is very tempting though.

Got the board in as well a few days ago ... too hot to do propper testing, though.

    Hehe.

I'm having a strange issue that also occured on the UD7: 222MHz wall on plain air cooling. On the UD7 I had the same, but hit 240+ on phase change
