Glad you like it. In regards to using this case for your next build, i highly recommend it, but if i were you i would hold out till the new model comes out. I think its called X2000F and i believe its actually a little bigger than the X2000. I've seen some pics and it looks even better for water cooling. Efharisto.

I wanted to wait until everything was 100% complete to show a pic of the case with the front cover on, but seeing as though a few people have asked for it, well... here it is>>>

I had to drill holes in the four corners of the frame for the latches to slide through. This gave it a neater look which was one of the reasons i made a second frame. With the first frame i hacked into the corners and it had to go.


Its tight, but it works.





Still got cable management to do. Just need to find some time.

Are you going to do a mesh side panel for intake?

It seems so simple, but when you really look at it you put an amazing amount of effort into this; anyone could have put the rad there, but not necessarily with such perfect fitting, and simple mounting hardware.

Hmm, low speeds? GTX is made for fast fans. From another look it can compensate under-par low-rpm performance by sheer size of it though.
& y0gi: congrats with completing your superb build! You realised crazy idea and were first to put 560 internally in normal PC case (i don't count customised custom acril cases as 'normal' ones).

The rad has seven Aerocool fans running at around 2000rpm, i'd say thats enough. I've heard some of those high speed fans, they're just so ridiculously loud. I'd rather lose a couple of degrees in temps than put up with something that sounds like a lawn mower. Also the side panel doesn't cover the rad area, you'll see what i mean when i put the side panel on. Glad you like it. Thanks.

Eek, it's all about money
As most probably my intended build will be the only one for long time, i want to use best or ones i like most components, so it's not cheap. Eg. bitspower matte black fittings are 1/3 costlier then from other series, NoiseBlocker fans cost fortune and so on. And as i want to save on shipping i want to order as much components as i can in least order count. So most probably i'll still have to wait half a month till payday & first order (including SR1 560 rad itself ). Well, at least it gives me more time to choose/think of components, eg. what fans, what TIM paste, what water blocks, what rad grill, what controller, what color of tubing, what tools gonna be needed and i have to buy and so on .. i don't want to fail at my first and only LC build

Also, just a quick update. Things are on hold at the moment. I've had to RA my Enermax power supply. After running the system for about a half hour i picked up on a strange clicking noise, took me a while to figure out where it was coming from but its definitely the psu. A little hard to tell if its just the fan or some kind of voltage arcing within. If anyone's heard or seen of similar problems with their psu, please offer some advice. Thanks.

Woohoo! A local boy! Dude, i cant even run the system as i'm STILL waiting for the replacement psu... then there's a crapload of cable management to do. Frustrating as hell.

Okay, so i'm stiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiill waiting for my new power supply to arrive. The project has been on hold for some time now and have decided to ignore the build while i wait. But, i couldn't help myself any longer and had to check the temps of this massive rad, so i've hooked up my old Antec psu for now.



At full speed the fans were pulling off some incredible color patterns.








Bought some cold cathodes early on in the build, not even gonna need them as the fans supply plenty of light. Maybe a little too much bling-bling for me.



This is just a quick check up to see how this rad performs with temps. Motherboard and E-LEET tuning both idling nicely at 15-16 degrees. Keep in mind, again this is just a quick update, we'll see how temps perform once i start overclocking. Don't want to do anything major yet until the new psu is back in the case and everything else is complete.




Hopefully psu arrives this week so i can finish up the build and see how far this rad can be pushed.

Thanks, man. Can't wait till its finished and all sealed up, should look real clean with no trace of rad. Also, camera is Panasonic Lumix TZ15. Pretty decent camera, but nowhere near as high profile some others in these threads. Glad you like the pics, i'll post more as soon as the damn psu arrives. Thanks.
