Hell no, the job is still yours

Gotta figure out the 3DMark issues on my own then I guess... it's so weird really.

Don't let it tear your sails man, just remember when you reach that high level of overclocking aptitude and start recieving hardware optimized for your reviews, don't turn into an intolerant douchebag.

What the hell happened to the human spirit around here? Nobody has any tolerance anymore for the imperfections of another. Chomp and stomp seems to be the policy of late.

When did people become hatchet men cutting off people nuts at the drop of a hat?

Whats so hard bout chalking it up to a difference of perspective? or lack of perspective? and then Humanely educating a person on your informed perspective?

There are loads of people out there with the impression that sponsored overclockers have it easy or are pampered or recieve "Special" hardware. They don't just pull that shyt out their anus's, its a commonly percieved notion for a reason. The majority of people don't have any idea what its like to recieve hardware for x,y or z reasons.

I concur on your dissapointment, I percieve things to be turning purist around certain circles which I guess falls in line with the theme. Maybe I'm wrong and that's not the intended messages but I don't see the good in using malicious words of intollerance in a situation such as this.

We're all brothers and sisters on this planet, treating others like arsehats just self-perpetuates and before you know it, we're all intolerant jerks.

Good thing being a jerk doesn't have to be a permanent condition, you know we all have our moments.

    Hey guys,

I just spent 2 hours benching my mainrig in 05, 06 and Vantage - gained a few points for the team, most notably I'm currently holding the #25 global spot for Vantage single GPU - on water xD

    http://hwbot.org/community/team/xtre...ab=submissions

Benching on a pretty great X5680 @ 1,52V load Vcore (not willing to risk going higher) @ 4,8Ghz 3D with HT and 4,9 w/o HT.
Gigabyte 5870 pushing 1,475V VGPU and 1,25V VTT at 1180/1380 Vantage - 1200 might be possible if I turn the temps further down. This was running 8C water temp.

Sorry guys, I ain't got no LN2 - still better than nothing right? And if HWBot hadn't changed their point system I'd still rule wprime

PS: For some strange reason, I could not fully ramp up the GPU in 3D06. No clue as to why that is,. but anything above ~1,225V VGPU either results in the machine rebooting or a very bad final score.
So 1080 core at 1,225V was the best I could do here.. a shame really :/

Nice work on water jcool! Too bad about 06, decent result and clocks anyhow !
Maybe you can get an SS unit for the CPU or something? They aren't much more than a water setup if you could do it.

Yes, I do have a SS. It can hold -30C at 280W and has proven itself countless times already. I'm just afraid to push the Vcore further on those chips.. they are simply too expensive to kill.
Temps are a nonissue, I'm seeing 30-35C max load... HK 3,0, cold water, and a helluva great flow (Dual MCP355's).

If you can mount the SS I'd expect 5ghz easy with your current voltages out of the chip and that'd boost the 03-06 3dmarks a lot.

Nice score ZenEffect, 525MHz FSB with a quad on a P5Q is excellent!

Thanks to skinnee for his contribution!

And one of our new members, Cele303, has posted a score as well!

Edit: I just wondered that we had lost almost 100 points.... Cele303 has left us already, not even a member for two weeks.

Thanks for posting some scores! At the moment we need the points more than ever.

By the way, you should really make some single card runs with your setup for all the benchmarks, those scores would be worth many points!

Not sure yet. There is room for improvement, the only runt that was really efficient was the 32m wprime I think.
Didn't seem like this CPU has much more in it clockwise though.

How high does your chip go on water?
It'll rock 06 and Vantage clock for clock a lot faster than the 920s, and if you can run it at a higher clock than the 920s then it'll be faster in AM3, 03, and 05 as well.
See what you can do! Looking forward to GTX 480 runs, that card is a real killer!
