I'm going to try ct! My wife has pretty much put the breaks on spending after the 980 so I can't really afford to pump up vcore until it burns out, I'm going for at least a brief benchable 4.6+. with that and my hybrid trifire finally running great, that's plenty to get 4th the question is can I get anywhere near 30k so I look respectable next to those monsters in front of me.

^^^ Yep, with 12 threads at 4.6 - i would think around 30K - give or take - who knows, with those drives - maybe more, higher cpu speeds also seem to improve the HDD subscores increasing the overall - you are at the cutting edge now. The 9260 new fancy s/w might be needed for >30K. Can't wait to see your results!
