lol that thing is useless no flash , no usb port , no multi-task , it runs iphone apps but they were made for iphone witch makes them all pixelized , its freaking huge

lolOk. I used speedtest.net app both on iPhone 3GS and the new iPad. I clearly see the difference.
iPad download speed is 1.83 megabits/sec whereas
iPhone 3GS download speed is 14.77 megabits/sec

A bit like netbooks, it's not really that hard to improve when you're starting out on minus.
in summary, ipad removes functionality for documents imported from other apple software, not good.

Wow. No proper document importing due to font styles and NO PRINT FUNCTION? I wasn't a fan of this when I first saw it but I was gradually warming to the idea. Now....I am stunned. Or maybe I shouldn't be.

I know 2 people who tried to tell me how great the Ipad is going to be. I laughed at them and I still think it's going to be a flop, at least in it's current form. I'd like something like that dual screen microsoft journal device where I can use it to read books along with most laptop functions, and then close it up to protect it when i'm carrying or not using it.
I can just imagine some high rise in NYC with some snooty douchebag in a 34th floor apartment doing something on the ipad that some average guy can do faster with a cheap laptop or netbook, and then a homeless guy using another Ipad for an ass warmer on the ground floor.
if they made it at least able to play HD video and manipulate HD pics and have decent wifi it would be a great seller. looks like fail. btw, does it support flash based apps? i heard it doesnt!!

The no print thing was discussed here when someone brought how awesome the iPad would be for taking notes in class (no hand writing recognition, no stylus, no printing)!!!

Why is ipad suppose to be video centered device anyways it cant play/scale 1080p/any proper formats.
I am really pissed on apple, on one hand i love my macbook air and on the other hand this crap?? Also here is my thinking netbooks are better in about everything the iPad stands for and well sales of netbooks are all ready slowing up.
Still netbooks like DELL 464 are really nice and light i cant imagine why people would buy a ipad instead? If you need a tablet i would recommend a Archos 9 which i found quite good it was light and quite nice to look at also choice could be the HP slate.

They should hold the iPad closer to the photo of Jobs they have on their walls. Jobs will bless their iPads which should fix all wifi problems.lol, some of the things people are saying is priceless!
