Ok, i know this hack really works on intel chipsets but if you use a X38/X48 for example, both cards running at 16x ?

I assume for a Maximums II Formula (P45 Chipset), both cards are running at 8x ?

hi, when you only have one gpu on the board, can u see this : set sli and physx configuration ?

You should only see the set SLI option if the drivers detect a second sli compatible video card and a sli compatible motherboard. More than likely if you are seeing it then you are good.

ok, good news:
1. I've GOT TODAY my Zotac 480 AMP! and PNY 480.
BAD news:
259.86 do NOT work with the hack =(.
I'm going to wait for a week, and if nothing going to change, I'm going for a true sli system. ( bye-bye my monitor)

We are working to get patch working on latest drivers.
Some of people help are welcome, because some ppl told they have no problems with 258 drivers and SLI.
Other say they have lots of problems with 258 drivers and _OFFICIAL_ X58 sli supported systems with SLI enabled.
So need to know, if it's some kind of protection added, or just bad drivers.

If somebody have X58 sli-ready rig with pair of GTX260/280 or fermi cards, could you test 258 and 259 driver with SLI, if it work ok.

I might be mistaken, but aren't there BIOS modders out there into the "dark arts" of injecting some kind of SLIC into BIOS code that forever makes SLI non-compliant chipsets forever compliant nomatter the driver?

Tin, thank you for your time! Really appreciated! I've attached a printscreen with the last drivers installed on my system (E8600, Asus Maximus Formula 2, 4GB RAM, 2x GTX275 (Gigabyte + BFG OC)).

SLI's not working on this configuration anymore with 258.96

Was working fine with my previous drivers 257.15 though.

Ket, SLIC in BIOS is NOT enough for having SLI.
I told this, together with anatolymik tons of times

Cool news, so is it possible to enable SLI on my DFI X48 T3RS that is crossfire ready? How do I do that can anyone give me a hand? I see the guide on how to do it, but it says we need modified forceware. Any tips on where to get the most recent forceware released by nvidia, with modification?
